Luciano Spalletti believes Juventus must capitalize on their recent win over Napoli as they prepare to face AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League. He emphasized the importance of consistency to avoid regression.

Luciano Spalletti has called on Juventus to build on the positive momentum gained from their recent victory against Napoli as they head into their Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar. Speaking ahead of the match, Spalletti stressed that the team must replicate the strong performance they displayed against Napoli to avoid slipping back into old habits.

"We showed clear signs of improvement in our last game, but it’s crucial that we maintain that level of performance," Spalletti stated. He acknowledged the challenges posed by AZ Alkmaar, noting their modern playing style and the need for Juventus to approach the match with determination and clarity.

With several changes expected in the lineup, Spalletti confirmed that players like Pape Matar Sarr and Lloyd Kelly will be given starting roles. The manager emphasized the importance of depth in the squad, especially with injuries affecting key players. He expressed confidence in the younger talents, particularly Kerim Alajbegovic, who has been entrusted with significant responsibilities.

Spalletti’s focus on consistency reflects a broader strategy to restore Juventus' reputation in European competitions. The team seeks to capitalize on their recent successes in the league and carry that into their Europa League campaign, aiming for a strong showing against a resilient AZ Alkmaar side.
